May 20th was my sister, Sally, 101 birthday. Doesn't she look great. She was at her granddaughter's house for a graduation party and they also celebrated her birthday.
My niece from California came for a visit. While she was here we went to visit my sister and we took a little birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to her. She wasn't up to coming to our house for a birthday party. So, the party went to her.
While Linda was here, we went to tea at the London Tea Room with my friend, Barbara. Tea was wonderful and the desserts were spectacular.
While Linda was here, she made a 1/4" scale library for her niece, Evelyn, who will be starting medical school this summer. It is created in an Altoid mint tin.
In the picture she is cutting out books for the library.
On Sunday, the 26th, we celebrated Joe's 82nd birthday with our St. Louis family and friends.
Before Linda left, we went downtown to see the renovated Arch and the new Arch museum. It was a beautiful day. We also got to see the flooding by the Arch.
Waiting in line to board the tram to the top of the Arch.
Pictures taken from the top of the Arch.
We really enjoyed having Linda here. It was a lot of fun.
Penny really enjoyed Linda being here. She got so much attention.
