Stitched Rug and Wall Hanging
I found a rug pattern that I loved and just had to stitch it. It sat for a while when I decided I had to do a scene with the rug. I found a pattern that I liked for a wall hanging and I changed the colors to ones that were in the rug. Then I did the small with the framed wall hanging. Here is my creation.
The things in the bookshelf (which my talented husband made) came from my 1" supply of stuff. The girl on the elephant's back was a gift at a NAME Convention. I finally found a use for it. I usually put animals in my projects because it gives them more life, We also had a Westie and cats, so they are fixtures in my projects.
This is the vignette that I created to showcase the chair and the rug. I also used an Annelle Ferguson sampler because the colors went well with the scene.
